Kinloch Lodge, Isle of Skye
We were commissioned in 1997 to design a significant annexe to Kinloch Lodge Hotel, to provide owner’s accommodation, letting bedrooms, residents’ lounge and a large demonstration kitchen for the client, a successful cookery writer, to run culinary events.
The design is primarily traditional vernacular; it addresses the exceptional beauty of the site and aspects across the Sound of Sleat to the South and relates to the fine original hotel building.
