This major project, now deferred, proposed significant facilities for UKAEA, the University of the Highlands & Islands and related users in a significant and highly sustainable building near the Pentland Firth.
The design incorporated major sustainable timber elements, passive ventilation, bio-fuel heating and a high degree of sustainable and recyclable materials in construction.
